I noticed most Klingons are tactical officer, which makes sense for a warrior class. Has anyone seen any benefit to choosing the science or engineering as a career path? I did notice in the Borg ground missions it would have been nice to have a science officer or three.
Science and Engineering Captains offer huge benefits. Your Science guys are great for buffing and debuffing while your Engineering guys can make awesome healers and even tank it up a bit. That's just speaking on the most basic level of course because once you've played around with options enough you can find some pretty incredible combinations. It's all in your play style and don't let the whiners fool you, just because your DPS may end up dimiinished the other classes bring a lot more to the table.
If I'd known then what I know now I'd be a Science Captain in my BoP and an Engineer in my Assault Cruiser.

I don't think most are tactical.... when I do pvp most klingons on my team are either science or (indeed) tactical with a few engineers (me including) thrown in also... but saying that almost all are tactical is not true in my opinion.
Would like to level a Klink (through PVP as much as possible), and kinda stuck between Sci & Tac.
Was thinking Sci / Bop or Tac / Raptor..... more opinions guys?
Thanks, Waff
I'm Tac, my favorite ship is and always will be the carrier, but I seem to be a lot more effective in a Raptor. The extra Tac BOff slots really help you up your damage. I pack a C:RF, FaW, HYT3, Torp Spread and a Beam Overload, add to that an APO, APB with APA, Fire on my Mark and you get a nasty surprise. Especially if the target is slow to pop his RSP. (Which they all seem to have these days... best thing to do is hold your attack until it's duration ends, or if you're solo, you gamble: Decloak and hope you can pop him faster than he can hit RSP, or fire a diversion volley, fly around till his RSP is done, then attack.)
